Matt Curtis

Matt is our team's creative director and directs The Public Interest Network's in-house creative design team. Matt lives in Philadelphia with his wife and daughter. He enjoys cycling, brewing his own beer, and exploring Philadelphia’s museums and restaurants.
Justin Boyles

Justin creates digital and print content as the creative team's senior designer. Based in Portland, Ore., his hobbies include hiking, canoeing and disc golf. He is easily identifiable by his excellent mustache.
Rich Hannigan

Rich is our editorial director. In 2011, he received the Public Interest Service Award from Public Citizen. Rich lives in Melrose, Mass., where he enjoys family, friends, basketball, hiking and trivia night.
Heather Kunst

Heather manages operations and projects for Public Interest Network Creative. Prior to her current role, Heather organized campaigns for CoPIRG, ECOpledge.com, Student PIRG's Youth Vote, PIRGIM and MASSPIRG. She lives in Boston with her husband and daughter, and loves swimming in the ocean, yoga, gardening and cooking.
Ryan Moeckly

Ryan creates web content and manages a network of more than 100 websites. He lives in his family farmhouse with his wife and kids in Britton, S.D., where they raise chickens, garden and enjoy the nearby lakes.
Marites Velasquez

B.A., University of Nevada, Las Vegas
Marites manages web and print projects, overseeing the creation of campaign materials, membership communications and web content for dozens of organizations within The Public Interest Network. Marites lives in Chicago where she often performs as the bass player and singer with her rock band, Ovef Ow.
Katrina Riley

B.A., University of Colorado
Before joining the editorial and creative team and becoming the deputy editor, Katrina helped turn out Colorado voters in the 2016 election. Her hobbies include biking, BBQ and pub trivia.
